A Datastore is a centralized collection of various data sources, such as PDFs, webpage links, or knowledge base managed through the organization console. It serves as a unified repository for your data, enabling seamless access and integration across multiple AI bots and AI-powered applications.

With reusable datastores, you can avoid duplicating the process of creating data sources, saving both time and costs. These datastores help maintain consistency and streamline workflows, making it easier to share data and leverage it across different projects or bots. Whether you’re working with structured or unstructured data, datastores provide an efficient and scalable solution for managing your organization’s knowledge corpus.

Steps to Add Data Stores:

    1. Go to the Data Stores (1) section in the organization console. Click on Create New Data Store (2). Add datastore name (3), description (4), select embedding model (5), add to organization (6).
    1. Datastores will be successfully added to your organization.

Prerequisite: Embedding models of data stores may be different in same project, but to use datastore with bot, the embedding model of datastores and the bot should be the same.
